Our History
Nordic Pioneer Ltd is a leading and cutting edge professional training, graffiti removal and prevention business. Founded in 1994 by a principle authority on graffiti, Peter Robinson, our head office is based in County Durham, although we operate across the UK and Ireland and deliver products and services internationally. Nordic is an award-winning organisation, and has accolades that include NE Business Excellence Awards and Queen Mother’s Birthday Awards for Environmental Excellence.
The company was set up to meet a demand from customers to provide a range of environmentally friendly graffiti removal products that are safe, easy to use AND effective. However, in recent years the company has expanded to include professional training services within the environmental enhancement sector. Courses include NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning and Support Services, NVQ Level 2 in Team Leadership, NVQ Level 2 in Local Environmental Services plus a range of community courses suitable for volunteers - all of which are accredited.
Our values are based on the fact that all of our products in the graffiti removal range are categorised as 100% "Readily Biodegradable" the highest categorisation of biodegradability, resulting in the products breaking down into their natural base constituents very rapidly. In brief, our products are therefore biodegradable, non toxic to the environment and safe to the user.
Under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH) and chemicals (hazard information and packaging for supply) regulations (CHIP) the Graff-Off range is not classified at all and our Pro range will only cause harm is ingested in large quantities. All of our products are supplied with professional data sheets so that you can see its composition, and how they meet COSHH and CHIP regulations.
The advantages of using the Nordic materials are they can remove most types of graffiti (even without the use of a pressure washer) using cold water only. All products are easy to use, non-hazardous, non-flammable, readily biodegradable and neutralised by water as well as being environmentally friendly. None of the Nordic products have been tested on animals.
